Gastric Bypass Introduction

I am Joy (known on YouTube as Gastric Joy)

I am a married mother of 6. I had Gastric Bypass on June 4, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland

with Dr. LoMenzo. My surgery was a success. I did not have my gallbladder taken out and there were no complications. I have been maintaing my weight for the entire time. I have never been past 160 during this journey. I got pregnant shortly after surgery and I had a successful pregnancy and I carried her until she was full-term. I then got pregnant again and this time with twins, I carried them until 36 weeks (full term for twins).
